We are the Barnes family - Senator, Sara, Glory, Willa, and Sona. We met in college on a mission trip to Boston. Over the next few years, three things stayed constant... Our desire to serve God through serving others, our calls to the foreign mission field, and our inability to stay away from one another.

We plan to move to China in the early spring of 2012. We are being sent as students in Denton Bible Church’s Missionary Training Institute. Our focus will be learning the language and working with the large population of homeless Chinese.

The breakdown to a 40 hour week would look like this

12 hours language acquisition
20 hours Homeless ministry
8 hours Administrative tasks for the Serve Shanghai Team

This is how to be involved

None of this can happen without the communal work of the body of Christ. We are seeking those who are willing to join us in the cause of bringing Christ to China. We are asking you to consider supporting us in prayer, encouragement, and finances.

For 25$ a month (one less pizza) you could help spread the Gospel.
